How this is measured
We request GitHub Copilot's official status feed where one is published, and separately time a plain request to github.com/features/copilot. Both readings are recorded every few minutes.
A state only changes after two consecutive readings agree. Uptime is calculated from the recorded outage and degradation periods over the stated window.
